Want to structure your ads to solicit the highest click-through rates (CTR) on Facebook?
A recent study collected data to show the top targets for the most successful click-throughs from Facebook ads.
Clearly, an opportunity to make sure your demographics targeting and your ads attract these types of markets – media, entertainment and blog sites. (Testing is your best friend, don’t trust data alone though).
What does the chart show?
This Webtrends survey of more than 11,000 Facebook advertisements measures clickthrough rates (red) and cost per click (blue) for different categories of ads.
Interesting: Health care ads are the least successful, followed — somewhat surprisingly — by ads for Internet and software products.
People want to talk and discuss things that are more fun and “conversation-worthy”. Don’t we all?
